Estate Dissolution

Family members or close friends may suddenly find themselves carrying out the duties of an Executor/Executrix after the death of a loved one. They often do not realize the enormous and
time intensive job they have acquired.

During this period of grief, the heirs are now required to handle the deceased's estate and may
have absolutely no experience dealing with this matter. Attorneys and accountants are the key advisors but they do not have the staff to physically assist the estate administrator on site.

Ducks In A Row Professional OrganizingSM helps with the hands-on job of discovery, identification, organization, evaluation, and liquidation of the deceased person’s tangible assets
(their "stuff"). Clients will maintain the fiduciary and legal role and responsibilities of the estate administrator. We can help with:

  • The estate Executor/Executrix go through the home to find important papers and assets
  • Establish a filing system to maintain records for tax purposes
  • Organize the contents of the home
  • Obtain the value of the contents for estate tax purposes
  • Dissolve the deceased’s physical assets with the heirs
  • Arrange for disposition of what is left to liquidators, auctioneers and estate sales after
the distribution of the physical assets to the heirs
  • Contact real estate professionals and coordinate other services as needed to prepare
         the property for sale

My mother was a hoarder so this was a huge task. Helane's strengths: prepared well, excellent communication skills, outstanding organizational skills, meticulous work habits, great interpersonal skills, high degree of personal integrity, intelligence, pleasant personality. Would recommend her!" - Jodi P. - Aptos, CA
